Crowns
Despite your best efforts, your teeth may need restorative treatment. Small areas of decay usually respond well to traditional fillings. If a large part of your tooth sustains damage or you have a substantial cavity, we may suggest a dental crown. Also called a cap, a dental crown restores the integrity and appearance of a tooth.
Depending on the location of the tooth, we can place an all-ceramic, porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM), or gold crown. Your dental crown procedure will occur during two visits. At the first appointment, Dr Carr or Dr Christophers will prepare your tooth, take an impression for the dental lab, and create a temporary crown. Patients return for final placement when we receive the new restoration from our laboratory.

Bridges
A dental bridge is used to close space left by a missing teeth. Made of two crowns with one or more replacement teeth between them, a bridge is cemented in place. Bridges allow our patients to enjoy solid, attractive smiles.
